Since July 2011, Ticanalyse has been commissioned in turn by APROSSA Afrique Verte Burkina Faso's technical and financial partners to set up the SIMAgri agricultural market information system:
-
With IICD, Ticanalyse's mission was to support APROSSA Afrique Verte Burkina Faso in the formulation of its economic, rural and agricultural development project integrating information and communication technologies. At a round table organised in Léo in July 2011, APROSSA Afrique Verte Burkina Faso proposed a second-generation SIM project to the members of the Connect for Change (C4C) alliance.
-
With Text To Change (TTC), Ticanalyse's mission was to support APROSSA Afrique Verte Burkina in negotiations with the Autorité de Régulation des Communications Electroniques et des Postes (ARCEP) and telephone operators. This process was intended to help develop the technological and economic sustainability model. As a result, the Agricultural Market Information System should eventually be self-financing.
-
Together with ICCO, Ticanalyse was tasked with evaluating the agri-MIS implementation process. This mid-term evaluation identified shortcomings in the implementation process of this Agricultural Market Information System.
Thanks to these different interventions, TICanalyse, having a panoramic view of this innovation, facilitated the workshop to launch this very useful tool for the agricultural value chain. So it was that on 16 February 2015, in the conference room of the Liptako N'Gourma, in the presence of all the members of the alliance (ICCO, IICD, TTC, TFK...), the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Trade, the Connect For Change (C4C) partners, and other technical and financial partners.
