Nafa Naana (the benefit has arrived) is a social enterprise operating in Burkina Faso, using an innovative solution to make modern, economical and environmentally-friendly cooking and lighting products accessible to all Burkinabe families. Its products help to improve living conditions and protect the environment, while promoting the development of the local economy. As a result, it often conducts surveys to improve its services. From its creation until the end of 2015, Nafa naana carried out its field data collection activities in the traditional way. Interviewers collected field data using paper forms, which were then entered into a spreadsheet by data entry agents. The process ended with the processing and analysis of the data.
At the end of 2015, during a meeting on the use of ICT in social marketing, Nafa naana discovered Beoogo Collect, a digital solution for collecting, processing and analysing data in real time designed by a digital engineering company applied to the development sector called TICANALYSE. Beoogo Collect offers the following functionalities Fill form, modify form, send form, download form and delete form. Beoogo Collect also allows you to transform paper questionnaires into digital questionnaires and to optimize them in order to avoid sending incorrect data. Beoogo Collect is used on the Smartphones that will be used by the interviewers.
In November 2015, Nafa naana used Beoogo Collect for the first time as part of a customer satisfaction survey. This month-long survey in the major cities of BURKINA saw the participation of five (05) interviewers and two (02) supervisors from Nafa naana.
The survey began on 27 March and will run until 31 May 2016.
